Insulation for Endurance Activities

Arc'teryx designed the women's Gaea jacket for a balance of insulation and thermal regulation during aerobic activities like cross country skiing around mountain Nordic Centers. It's lined with lightweight, breathable, wind and weather resistant Polartec® Alpha® insulation along the chest, shoulders, and tops of the arms. This insulation provides it with ample warmth without the bulk, while allowing generous air permeability. A Lumin™ nylon face fabric sheds light precipitation and blocks chilly breezes. Breathable, moisture-wicking Torrent™ panelling facilitates ventilation and mobility.

Front Zip | Thumbholes | Pockets

A full-length front zipper secures the jacket, allowing for quick ventilation when overheated. A drawcord hem allows you to seal out cold air, while the sleeve cuffs have thumbhole loops letting you easily fasten gloves over them. One of the two zippered hand pockets has an internal media port, while the two rear stash pockets are angled for easy access.
