Nice shoes, but are narrow

Compared to my other altras, these are narrow and my feet haven't felt great in them in the first couple runs. I'm hoping after a break in period that they'll be ok. But not as happy with these compared to all my other altra shoes.

Nice shoe

I needed a bit of cushion under my foot but find soft cushion doesn’t work. This is a firmer cushion which I like. It is the regular Altra shape but I don’t find it overly wide. Not as wide as I would have thought and wanted.

I own and love the Lone Peak 6 Trail runners (size 9). I was hoping this would be my go to for the road but the 9 and 9.5 did not feel as wide as the Lone Peaks. I ended up with the Hoka Bondi 8 4E Width. Sorry, Altra my caveman feet couldn't fit!

Good ride but tight fit, narrow

The cushion is perfect and the zero drop feels nice with a high stack height. The shoe is narrower than I expected though, my feet unfortunately go numb after 10K

Almost air.

The package felt like an empty box. It was so light. And for a size 13. I usually wear size 12.5 for Altra but needed half size larger for the Via Olympus. I'm 6 foot and 178lbs. Brilliant training shoe.

6'5" and 250 lbs. With wide feet. Size 14 fit true and the wide toe box is a revelation. I also bought a pair of Escalante 3 and they both fit beautifully out of the box. Suddenly hooked on Altra.

J’avais les Olympus Trail.
Les via Olympus sont finalememt les mêmes mais en route.
Semelle épaisse et gros amortie avec un mesh qui laisse la liberté au pied.
Même taille et même sensation que les Olympus Trail.
A voir en hiver si elles ont tendance à se rigidifier comme les Olympus.
