But in early Spring & late Fall, the weather can unexpectedly get downright COLD! Why do the tent manufacturers provide zip-on or velcro-on covers for those mesh panels that could be,attached from the inside? It seems like that would certainly help to keep a LOT more heat inside the tent. (Of course, the rainfly would still be required to keep rain out.) These tents don’t need to be beefed up to 4 season strength (being able to deal with the weight of snow); just the capability of doing a better job of keeping body (or even heater-generated) heat in the tent when desired.
