Mid-tier parka
Review by Kevin A. on 7 Apr 2023 review stating Mid-tier parka
6'1", 200lbs. Bought size medium. Fits well. Good sleeve length.
After a few miserable years in central Alberta, I decided to get rid of my old, thin (cheap) ski jacket and finally get a real parka. I got this one because the sleeves looked long (they were) and because it seemed like a more economical alternative to Quartz or Canada Goose...Read MoreRead more about 6'1", 200lbs. .
The parka is heavy and well-insulated, but the build quality doesn't seem to be as good as the ultra expensive jackets. Mine came with a defect in the hood (the adjustment string was not well sewn or secured and had ripped out of its hole in transit) and I ended up having to exchange it.
A few other notes:
There is no felt flap covering the inside of the zipper. AKA when you're out shovelling with the parka fully zipped up, your mouth is going to be pressed against the cold metal zipper. Incredibly aggravating how many ostensibly winter-focused jacket companies do this. Cover the inside of your zipper. It's cheap and easy to do, and makes your coat a million times more usable.
I'm also not a fur connoisseur, and I don't know what separates good faux fur from bad faux fur, however, I could immediately tell that this was bad faux fur and the first thing I did was unzip that ugly thing from the hood. At least it's removable. Read LessRead less about 6'1", 200lbs. Bought size medium. Fits

Review by Zarina O. on 31 Dec 2023 review stating I bought this jacket as
I bought this jacket as a present for my husband. The size is perfect on him, there is a room for a guy who has a belly. A lot of pockets and surprise pockets on the jacket. The only complain i have is the jacket is a bit heavy but maybe after sometimes, the fabric would become softer.
