This model is not longer made in Canada

Fantastic hat. I've worn it on 3 camping trips now and it rarely comes off. Paired with a big met, the wide brim keeps the net off of my face.

at the top is also a soft nylon type of fabric, not a hard plastic, like I was afraid it might have been based on the photos.

I'm deducting a star because there were a few loose threads in the hat when it arrived. I read a lot of reviews about how the Canadian made versions were impeccable in quality. But this one is made in China and I had to snip off some dangly threads. So I question if the durability is as strong as it used to be.

I also measured and ordered the size according to the Tilley sizing chart and I found it to be a bit too big. If I couldn't do it again, I'd go one size down. Read Less

Amazing hat

Wore it for a trip in Nepal and couldn’t be happier with it.

The hat is very well made! You can fold it flat for travelling but when reopen keep its shape well, fells structured. LOVE THIS HAT

this is the perfect hat for fishing and camping. Did some research on Tilley and make sure you register the hat for a warranty. Also when buying follow the size chart at Tilley’s website for the perfect fit. I just wish the strap wasn’t shoelace material but otherwise great buy.
