Decent Bike Shorts

I bought these for my husband.
Here are the pros he listed:
Fabric is durable, stretchy and breathable.
Chamois does its job reducing pressure points and chafing
Functional pockets with zippers.

r than the outer shorts. He had to size up to a large in order for the liner to fit, but then the outer shorts are actually too big. The size medium outer short fit but its liner was too tight.
The liner shorts are attached with floppy little ribbons which ought to have snap buttons so you can detach the liner shorts for washing and for wearing only the outer shorts. OR the liner shorts should be properly sewn in, not just suspended on those skinny little ribbons.
When you undo the belt it immediately retracts into the fabric “tunnel” which the belt goes through, and it’s tricky to fish back out. Read Less

Comfortable but some QC issues

The chamois is thick which is nice, the outer shorts are nice, dry and moisture wicking.

There’s a major QC issue with the belt, it’s already fraying within 2 wears and seems is will break.

The liners also have a very hard to manage attachment to the outer shirts, which likely to break as well.

comfortable short and liner

just received and tried on .very comfortable.was a litttle confused with the liner attached to the short.must assume that you cut the sewn in tether for proper use.looking forwards to giving these a work out this summer !

th liner shorts now. For liner shorts they are good and the chamois is decent as I find all Sugoi chamois are. I typically ride with Sugoi bib shorts with the Formula FX chamois. These don't have the Formula FX chamois, but the chamois they come with is still better than a lot of others out there and more than adequate for casual rides. I do wish there was a cheaper version available without chamois though at the old price. Read Less

good price for a short and chamois combo, but quality not what it used to be

I am still on the fence about keeping this short. The fit is excellent (size small and I usually wear 29 size pants), great alternative to baggy mtb shorts, but the chamois is a downgrade for me (I had the sugoi formula FX for years which was excellent in all aspects and superior to the one included with these shorts). leaf on it which I find misleading given that these are made in China. These will replace a raceface indy short which was absolutely bulletproof. Doubt these will last more than 3 years as my experience with sugoi's products with elastane start to disintegrate after 3 years of heavy use. Trade off for getting stretch vs. durability I guess. Other than that, they are very light and should please the vast majority of users aside from very picky ones like myself. Read Less

seem to be a few reviews suggesting these run small, but I find the fit fine (size M - 5’11’’, 170).

Exactement ce que je voulais

Je voulais un short pour rouler en gravel. Je n'aime pas rouler en cuissard et mes shorts de mtb sont trop longue et large aux cuisses. J'adore le short, plus court, fi près du corps, super léger. Le tissu est élastique, c'est parfait.
