cozy and stylish

Love these boots! They are very cozy and the buff color is so chic. Caribou is the most classic model of Sorel, I am so glad that I purchased before snow comes. Can not wait to wear them!

Caribou Boots

First few times I wore the boots my left front of my ankle was very sore and had to stop wearing for a couple of days. Pulled out the lining and the black tar like substance that is used to seal the seams had very sharp pointy bits in them. We had to use sandpaper to rub the points down. a wider fit than I would have liked and are very heavy., so they are very hard to get used too and not flexible enough to drive in. They are very warm and I haven’t slipped on ice at all. When they get more worked in and soften a bit they hopefully will be better. I am somewhat disappointed in them but not bad for price I paid as they were on sale. Manufacture issue

Unfortunately although these shoes seem to have great potential, the right boot of both my pair and the pair my partner ordered have a manufacturing issue that leabes a sharp piece of uncut plastic digging into our ankles. Wore once and within blocks we both had carved out holes because of it.

Developed in 1972, the Caribou's purpose has always been to keep your feet warm when shoveling sidewalks after a mid-winter snowfall. The boot features ruggedly waterproof seam-sealed construction. A heat-capturing 9mm ThermoPlus recycled felt liner is fully removable and has a Snow cuff made from Sherpa pile to keep snow out. A fully waterproof upper constructed with Nubuck leather tightens with a lace-up closure. The shell is built from handcrafted vulcanized rubber and has a rugged outsole with a grippy aero-trac tread. This boot will keep your toes warm during evening walks to the rink and winter vacations to Banff.
