Fit didn't work for me

Colour is nice and it felt fairly warm but the fit just wasn't flattering on me. Especially at the shoulders. The zipper was also clunky. Had to return it.

Love it!

Warm enough for Quebec winters, really waterproof, brown color is amazing and chic. Only thing missing is zipers for the pockets.

under rated for a puffer

I was looking for a winter jacket that was going to be warm enough to just throw on and go in the cold. Not a lot of technical jackets out there that checked all the boxes (ski jackets are not insulated enough and anything super warm isn't protective enough against the weather.

ith the wind chill) with only a t-shirt, sweatpants and a beanie this jacket comes pretty close.

It took a few minutes into the walk for the initial cold to disappear. Jacket fits nice for a small. I test fitted a medium in the store and the small will still allow for a midlayer fleece or down jacket for extra warmth on a real cold day without too much sacrifice on loft thickness.

Tshirts I wear are medium and jackets in size small. I was worried that the small/would be too tight to wear more underneath as most small jackets tend to do. I would have to buy a medium normal jacket for this amount of internal fit. This fits more like a smaller cut medium.

Sweatshirt hoodie will be fine. Arms will be snug and shoulders tight with a high pile fleece or lofty layer. It would work, but I would go with a medium if you wanted more mobility and space for your application.

Without the stitch through style, the. appearance isn't as puffy looking for a cleaner look. The shoulders cut makes them appear less rounded like other puffers. It still looks like you're wearing a puffy but not as bad.

The arms are fitted and warm, the collar was loose enough that if I had another layer to zip up underneath, I could still zip up and not be strangled. I really needed that missing drawstring at the bottom to stop the cold air. That's all it really needs to complete the jacket. For a winter jacket at any price, a pull cord at the hem is necessary.

I hope the "waterproof" is truly waterproof. Haven't been in the rain to tell. I don't think it will have any issues with wet or dry snow. The outer skin is like a shake dry style. Less fabric and more non-porous without the full rubber look. It's matte enough that you wouldn't take a second look (not like OUTDRY or similar). I have high hopes for it to be waterproof. 5000mm is bare minimum to be called waterproof.

PROS - knitted cuffs, lots of loft, taller than average collar, windproof outer skin, warm hand pockets.

CONS - needs a pull cord for the hem (to stop the cold air from getting in) and adjustments on the back of the hood to cinch down tighter - both making it more technical than fashionable.

If they added a knit cuff hidden at the hem like the cuffs, it would really be near perfect.

Worth the buy when it's on sale for a cold winter. Winter bomb proof if RAINS fixes the cons and this proves to be waterproof. . Read Less
