Warm and compressable

Got these down pants for hiking in cold months. Good down pants for cold nights at camp. They compress down small for my backpack, but keep me warm in below zero temps sitting around outside. eas at the knees or rear. Comfy to sleep in and good to wear under shell wind/rain pants. Watch the sizing, they run small. I sized up 2x so that I can fit them over regular pants. Because they are so light and pack down small, I will always take them on winter hikes as a "just in case” emergency item. Warm and cozy!

Extreme Heat Retension, Comfort and Fit

The Argon Down Pants are Incredible at Heat Retension.

They are not designed to be worn for Aerobic Activities.

They are meant to be fit Slim and close to the skin and not pulled over Bulky Winter Outerwear.

I would say that because they are designed to fit close to the skin/baselayer they naturally feel on the smaller side.

Most will want to Size Up if they don't want that snug fit.

I like to use in All 4 Seasons so I Size Up at Least 2, usually 3 Sizes.

That's not always possible depending on the size you are starting at because the Size offered usually is only up to XXL.

They Do Not have a Durable 'Bum Patch' area and Do Not have a Full Length Zipper on the side.

They are not designed with the above features though they are Tough and Durable and do slide on and off very easily.

With some Footwear it may be difficult to pull over so you may have to remove the Footwear.

I don't find this an issue because I know the Argon Down Pants will save me in the Cool and Cold and the slight inconvenience will be rewarded with warmth.

They are designed to be worn close to your baselayer and are not Sized or Designed to Pull On over thick ski outerwear.

Having said that, I purchase 2 to 3 sizes up so I am able to pull over most any outerwear options.

In the hiking season when I am not wearing extremely bulky clothing, the Argon Pants are a Breeze to Pull Out and Pull On over Hiking Pants for warmth.

The Pertex Quantum Ripstop Nylon Outer Fabric is extremely durable and Water Resistant so I don't have any issue with the Durability in the 'Bum' area at all.

I do pull The Argon Down Pants out when I Know I will be standing around waiting in the cold, especially after working up a sweat from the Hike, climb, Snowshoeing or ski tour/skinning, etc.

They also have great moisture and condensation protection built into the design and construction of the Pants using High Quality Nikwax Hydrophobic Down and Outer Shell Fabric Protection from the Pertex Quantum Moisture Resistant Fabric.

They are an incredibly warm addition to any Backcountry or Outdoor cold weather enthusiast.

They are a 4 season Down Insulating Pant that can be worn after a Hike where you need to stay warm when setting up Camp and preparing for your meal or relaxing or for staying warm in the Tent.

The Argon Down Pants are incredibly good at increasing the Cold Weather Comfort of any Sleeping Bag.

If your Sleeping Setup is not keeping you Warm in Cooler or Colder Conditions, The Argon Down Pants will Boost your Sleeping Bag's Performance.

It can't make a Summer Weight Warmer Weather +20C Sleeping Bag Comfortable in Minus-30C though if your Bag needs a Boost The Argon can be the difference you need instead of having to run out and purchase a New Sleeping Bag.

It stretches your gear and clothing abilities to provide Comfort and Warmth with with the options you already own.

The Argon Down Pants are great for Lounging around at the Ski Chalet or the Backcountry Lodge or Hut as well.

Comfortable and Lightweight Down Pants that pack up to an incredibly small and lightweight package that you can stuff in your pack to pull out when needed.

like wearing a sleeping bag

nice and very warm and comfortable. perfect to wear over a base layer as it doesn't have side zippers. I'm 6'2, 180lbs, usually wear jeans size 33. Size XL fit me well.

Puffy pants

It fits true to size, provided you use the RAB sizing guide. I'm 6'2, 210 and wear a 38 in jeans and would not want the XXL any smaller. I plan to use while winter camping and ice fishing. Tellement chaud et en même

Tellement chaud et en même temps léger et compressible. Pour un usage en activité statique (camping) c'est l'idéal! Ils s'apportent bien dans un sac de compression. Par contre, comme tout produit en duvet, ils sont un peu fragiles. Somme toute un bon produit qui répond à un besoin précis de chaleur.

Comfy down pants

I bought these down pants for my son who will be heading this spring to do an 8000 m+ summit in Nepal. He is 6’1’’ size 29-30 waist.
The reviews said the pant ran a bit small. I chose the size medium. The fit is perfect in the waist and length and the quality excellent .A great pant for high altitude base camp or any winter camping.
