The Aether AG™ 70 has the pedigree few backpacks can match, with a design for long-distance thru-hikes, alpine backpacking and week-long adventures in the backcountry. Osprey equipped the Aether AG™ with a convertible top-lid DayLid™ daypack, creating a more versatile pack for long-haul carrying on multi-day excursions. The main pack has Osprey's Anti-Gravity™ Technology, which utilizes a continuous, suspended backpanel of lightweight mesh that extends from the upper torso through the lumbar area, wrapping the wearer in breathable comfort. It then combines Osprey’s adjustable IsoForm5 harness with the custom heat molding CM™ hipbelt, which deliver an outstanding fit and comfort for carrying heavy loads over long distances. Both the harness and hipbelt are interchangeable to provide users with the best possible fit.

Compartments | Features

The Aether AG™ 70's top-lid can be deployed as an impressively functional DayLid™ daypack to summit nearby peaks. The standalone pack has a large front J-Zip and additional access points to its main compartment. The front of the pack has a large stretch mesh front panel pocket, and the lower portion has a separate zip sleeping bag compartment with a removable divider. Dual hipbelt pockets provide storage for items like a GPS, a phone and some snacks. The pack exterior comes with features like dual ice tool loops with bungee cord tie-offs, removable sleeping pad straps that can haul other gear, and Osprey’s Stow-On-The-Go™ trekking pole attachments for those adventures with tricky ascents.
