Paddle float

I’m happy to say I’ve never used one. Perhaps I should practice on a calm lake. I’ve had one for about five years now and I transfer it between kayaks. I decided to buy another and keep it permanently in one kayak. Let’s hope I never have to use it.

Loaded up and ready for fun.

This thing is a lot bigger than I thought, but I guess I didn't check the dimensions of it. It's sturdy, brightly colored with some reflective strips on the back. A quick fix when time matters

I bought this float to upgrade from one I had to inflate while in the water beside my kayak, that in an emergency. This one is easier to grab and slip unto a paddle to help with getting back into the kayak in the middle of a lake or the ocean. It doubles up as a seat cushion on occasion.

A paddle float is an essential piece of safety gear.

The NRS Foam Paddle Float secures easily to your paddle blade by sliding the blade into the nylon fabric pocket on the back. A webbing buckle on the front secures the paddle to the float. Your paddle acts as an outrigger support when the other blade is secured to your boat.
