• FABRICS
Mulesing Free: Mulesing is a controversial surgical procedure removing wool-bearing skin from the tail and breech area on sheep to prevent fly infestation. The process is usually done without any without anaesthetisation and can be extremely painful. As a part of our animal welfare commitment, we only source traceable wool from sheep that have been treated well and not been mulesed.
pureOrganic™ Cotton/Recycled PES: A form of recycled polyester added to pureOrganic™ cotton for extra strength, durability and faster drying.
Wool blend: This fabric has a mix of wool and polyester. We try to use reprocessed wool from old garments as much as possible, and recycled polyester on all products where this is applicable. Reprocessed wool means that it is reprocessed from old garment to be used in new garment, which is good for the environment.
