The Black Knight In Shining Armour

Got a leaky faucet dripping the night away? Got a squeaky gasket rubbing like crackers or so to say? When you need a multitool to save the day - just look in your pocket or side of your hip and call out for the Black Knight. All your problems will be solved.

High Quality Multi Tool

This is my first leatherman, but I’ve owned many multi tools in the past. Feels solid in hand. Smooth opening/closing. Some people say it’s too big for EDC, but I think it’s perfect size. Tools are good quality/size. Love the black colour.

A solid miltitool

This is a really solid multi-tool and comes loaded with functions. It is probably one of the most complete Leathermans if you want to be covered for everything. nt a long time wiping it down and I will still get the odd smear of greese on my hand while using it. I understand it helps the hinges and keeps rust away, but I am mostly using it in dry conditions anyways. Two is the removal of eyeglass screwdriver from the old version of the surge. They are surprisingly handy. Three is that it only comes with one double-sided bit, while my old one came with extras (still not a full kit, but they are giving you less and less it seems). Four is that it's not printed "made in USA". After some digging, it looks like many of its parts aren't made in USA (some still are) meaning they aren't allowed to stamp it. It doesn't really matter, but I don't like the lack of transparency. All in all it's a great tool and one of my favourite Leathermans. I'd recommend it! Read Less

Great tool for bigger jobs

I’ve had a Wave+ for years and wanted to add something slightly bigger to my kit, and had been looking at the Surge for a while. Its slightly larger size comes in handy for bigger tasks. Tools are all well thought out and laid out. Excellent multi tool!

Heavy Duty Multitool

Great for when you need a little extra power in you pocket tools. A bit big for EDC, but great for anyone working with their hands all day. I don't notice it on my hip but it's there when I need it.

Fantastic tool

Was shopping for a new EDC multitool and it was between the Surge and the Wave Plus. This one is much larger and I am happy for that. The sheath holds the tool securely on my belt and the larger size gave me the larger set of scissors on it which is a must for my needs.

Hefty tool, built like a tank!

Heavy hunk of steel, made in the USA, the closest thing to wearing a toolbox on your belt. Has everything we need

A unique blade exchanger, replaceable premium wire cutters and four outside-opening blades give you quick access to the tools you use most. • All Locking Features: All locking features means that every tool and knife on the body of the handle, with the exception of the plier head, will lock into place. The all locking design enables the user to operate individual tools safely and effectively.
