The construction allows it to be used as a second layer under a shell or as an outer layer during ski mountaineering climbs or on mountaineering trips. Windproof fabric with DWR treatment that helps repel water and snow, on the front, back, and sleeves. Made with 90 g Polartec® Alpha Direct insulation on the front, the back, and the front of the sleeves. The rest of the jacket is made with highly abrasion-resistant Polartec® Hardshell fabric.
