New design feature since our first ones, they lace all the way to the top where before they had hooks, I much preferred the hooks. Regardless, they are amazing boots, super comfortable, warm, and amazing grip.

These boots are good looking and well made, very water proof, but they run way smaller than they should be. I wear 9 1/2, bought the 10 size and my toes are squeezing against the front. Will have them returned, I hope they get on sale again soon to get a bigger size.

Haven't tested in cold and wet weather yet. Looks well built and is comfortable but is extremely narrow. I tried them with wool socks and didn't fit. I normally wear 10½, I ordered 11, should have taken 11½. To be fair maybe the boot is warm enough to be worn with regular socks.
