I find I normally get too hot in most jackets, this jacket is the perfect in between. It keeps me warm when it’s cold out and it’ doesn’t make me overheat. I bought it on sale but I would pay full price for this jacket in a heartbeat.

Atom jacket is a favourite in our house as a single layer for in between seasons and easy to pack up. I find the ladies fit is more tailored and flairs out at the bottom a bit.

I love this jacket as a shoulder season jacket. The stretch side panels enable ventilation which does limits some of the winter use as a top layer. I have noticed that the outer layer is showing wear from my backpack straps, but so far hasn't affected performance.

rm fitting as the versions currently in the arcteryx store and the torso is slightly longer. Not a problem, but also not necessarily what I was expecting when I ordered. The arm length fits me almost perfectly (maybe 1/2 inch long) which is unusual for a jacket as I am 5ft, so I would guess proportions are more designed for us short ladies. This is my second Atom LT Hoody jacket, as I loved my other one and wanted another color. It's rain resistant enough for a light shower, and warm enough for spring and early summer. It packs small when you don't need it on, too. Also great for layering under my Goretex jacket when I need a bit more warmth.
