These are my 3rd pair of these runners. I am a big girl, heavy foot and i am on my feet lots -these runners are feet saver. I basically plan my outfit around these runners lol and i have an extra pair for inside house to run around in . Not sure what the science behind is but my feet do not hurt when i wear these running around all day.

The wide version is considerably wider than the regular width with lots of room for your toes. The only negative comment is the colour.

This is a great shoe if you are looking for a wide toe box but still want some Cushion that is zero drop. It is lightweight and comfortable. I am looking at getting the higher top one for winter I like it so much.

Love Altra, but found they'be been getting narrower for the last few years. The wide version feels like my first pair from 10 years ago. So much room in the forefoot = mega comfort. So far really happy with the GTX for rainy runs. My only complaint is the colours - white/pale green blue for a trail running shoe??

I have wide feet and high arches and I have historically struggled to find wide enough runners - these ended up actually being TOO wide in the toe box for me which was a first! Innovative design, great fabric. Had to return because they were too big for me.

Wanted more room for my toes and got it in the LP. Very light and comfortable. However, ended up going with the Olympus 5 (same make) instead for greater structural support and cushioning. I found that sizing up got me the fit I needed.

Love this trail shoe. It seems that Astra improved the Lone Peak model once again, as this one seems to have a little bit more padding. Great shoe for longer distances.
