Ecco
Founded in 1963, ECCO is a Danish footwear manufacturer specializing in casual-to-luxury shoes made from premium materials. After skyrocketing in popularity during the 80s, the brand improved the comfort and aesthetics of their footwear by building an R&D facility outside Copenhagen in 1996. Today, this Denmark-based brand remains obsessed with every facet of their footwear operation, owning and operating each production process, from the initial design phase to the sourcing of their premium leather. The results are a series of collections that maintain touches of Scandinavian minimalism even in their sport focused golfing shoe line. With flagship stores in London, New York, and Tokyo, ECCO remains a family owned business, concentrating on producing some of the best boots for life in Nordic cities.
