The Reigning Champ Origins
A sister to wings + horns, Reigning Champ was founded in 2007 by Craig Atkinson in Vancouver, British Columbia. Barely a decade after its creation, the brand is already firmly anchored in the streetwear fashion landscape. On the style side, it follows the growing craze for products with a minimalist aesthetic but incorporates a resolutely sportier touch that differentiates it. On the design side, it stands out once again for similar brands by offering products made entirely in Canada – both its clothes and accessories. The factory is also located near the Reigning Champ offices so that the design and production team can work closely with the factory.
The brand pays particular attention to the materials and fabrics used in the development of their products which backs their reputation within th fashion market. Each season, it carefully selects its raw material to create future models. While Reigning Champ’s inventory has diversified over the 11 years of its existence, the Fleece continues to occupy a prominent place in its designs. Over the years, the brand has also worked on collaborations, combining its technical know-how with that of renowned brands such as Adidas or Converse.
