If only packing for vacation was as easy as purchasing the plane ticket. It’s hard to know what to pack and what to leave behind and once you’ve decided on your favourite clothes, you’ve got to somehow make it all fit into your suitcase or duffel. It’s true that finding the perfect balance between style and comfort can be a real headache especially when space is limited. Fortunately, FIG Clothing decided to take up the challenge by developing basic clothing perfectly suited to adventure travel.
This spring, the Montreal brand launches a new fabric, aptly named “Flex” because of its impressive flexibility. It is currently found in three pieces of their Safari collection: a pair of shorts, a capri and some pants. Whether you’re off to a remote corner of the world or a weekend by the lake, you’ll definitely appreciate their versatility. Add to that modern designs, flattering cuts and uncompromising comfort, what more can you ask for?
What is Flex Fabric?
What is immediately impressive about the Flex fabric is its flexibility and versatility. Not only is the fabric soft and light, it is especially stretchy in all four directions! Not surprising since it is composed of 76% nylon and 24% spandex, and is woven at 135 g / m². Thanks to this nylon base, the Flex fabric is abrasion resistant and durable.
Get ready to move, Flex clothing is breathable, dries quickly and wicks away moisture which is a real bonus for adventurers of all kinds! In addition, the fabric is particularly compact. Shorts, capris or pants, they all slip easily into a suitcase for your next trip.
It gets better! The Flex fabric is also equipped with a UPF 50+ sun protection, in addition to being Bluesign certified.
Where Can You Find the Flex Fabric?
This season, find the Flex fabric in three new products in the FIG Safari Collection: a pair of shorts, capris and some pants. Designed with travel in mind, each garment boasts the name of an airport somewhere on the planet. Your next destination, maybe?
WUU Short
For travellers who will enjoy the holidays to discover a destination where warmth and sun go hand in hand, the WUU shorts are a must. Their cut is ideal, neither too short nor too tight. The edge rolls easily while remaining comfortable for those who like shorter styles.
NIK Capri
Look no further than what to slip in your suitcase, the NIK capri is THE ultimate versatile garment. Equipped with the FLEX stretch and wrinkle resistant fabric, it is particularly comfortable. Better yet, its all-purpose length is perfect for the indecisive who wonder at length in the morning in front of the mirror being afraid of being too cold or too hot during the day.
KAP Pants
If the desire for adventure pushes you to destinations with cooler temperatures, why not choose the KAP pants instead. Flexible, silky and stylish, it can be worn on a trip or on a hike, or even on a daily basis.
